Mouna began her acting journey at Toronto's Young Peoples Theatre. She further honed her skills at the Interlochen Arts Camp and Etobicoke School of the Arts. Known for roles in "Rookie Blue," "Murdoch Mysteries," and "The Umbrella Academy," Traoré portrays Marlene Massey in the 2022 CBC mini-series "The Porter."
